There has been a further collapse in the doline of Cocklebiddy Cave.

A visit in May, 2010 revealed a mass of rock and mud has been dislodged from the unstable cliff on the right hand side of the entrance.

The collapse most likely occurred after a significant rain event as there is a large amount of rocks and debris washed up against the fence. The area of the collapse is in the zone where equipment is lowered into the cave from the top of the doline. Divers accessing the site would be well advised to avoid this area of the cave if possible.

The Department of Environment and Conservation, WA has been advised.
